How it all began

“Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won't adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words "make" and "stay" become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free.”

— Tom Robbins, Still Life with Woodpecker

Makenzie & Brian

Friends were enjoying the warm weather and water on August 4th, 2017 at Clear Lake when Makenzie and Brian met. Makenzie still lived in the Ashland area and was merely passing through. The second Brian saw her he knew she was meant to be in his life. Soon Makenzie was known as “trail goddess” among Brian and his friends and when she moved back to Portland less than a year later they quickly connected in a deep, meaningful friendship that blossomed into love. Seven years later here they are with a pup named Agness, a community they cherish and a love that will truly last lifetimes.

And the rest is history
